Kiteboarding Australia update

New Appointed Director at KA We are pleased to announce the recent appointment of Chris Thomas to the Kiteboarding Australia board. Chris comes to Kiteboarding Australia with 30 years + experience in the advertising, marketing and communications industry. As the previous CEO of BBDO in the Americas, Chris has a huge depth of board experience, currently sitting on three boards in Asia, Europe and now Australia. Chris will bring extensive marketing expertise to our sport and we're thrilled to have his assistance at Kiteboarding Australia. Chris's passion for kiteboarding dates back to '98 where he started out on a 9m Wipika kite with a wrist leash; thankfully he is still alive and has since upgraded many times. Although a big traveller, Chris is now based on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria and makes the most of the many great kiting locations the area has to offer.
Formula Kite World Championships Success Congratulations to Aussie rider Breiana Whitehead coming home with an amazing 3rd place in the Women's Formula Kite World Championships in Italy! Breiana's brother Scott Whitehead also had great success in the U19 Men's fleet by taking out 3rd place & sent a strong message that he is aiming high in kite racing. Veteran Natalie Clarke took out 2nd place in Women's Masters.Further congratulations to all the riders who competed and represented Australia in Italy. With well over 100+ competitors at the championships, it was great to see the Australians doing very well at the top end! We're busy planning our national championships for the 2019/20 season and expecting to release the dates and location very soon! Stay Tuned!
Auto-Renewal Website Feature Upgrade In 2017, Kiteboarding Australia migrated to a new online sports management platform 'RevSport'. With this, there were many great benefits, however we sacrificed our auto-renewal feature at the time. Since then, we have been working with the web developers to re-introduce this feature and we are excited to announce that it is back up and running! By simply choosing the auto-renewal option, your membership will renew each year, provided your credit card details don't change. You can of course opt out of this at any time by logging into your admin account page :-)
Have a great autumn, safe winter and we cant wait to share the stoke with you in the season ahead! Windy Regards, Kiteboarding Australia
