Hi just wondering if anyone who's advertising kites at the moment have had any luck. I have one for sale and know a few friends selling on here at moment no enquires.
Economy feels slow plus the wing thing isnt helping either.
Send your kites to Moti, change into wing, profit.
Same here, no inquiries on my Ozone kites I'm selling. I guess the market is saturated with used kites and wing has taken over
Marketing guys will be happy knowing their speals have worked. No wonder with all of the game changing tweaks, understandable no one wants last years kite that has no power, no drift and dont even get me started on how heavy those old bricks are.
I sold two kites a few weeks ago. Both gone within days of putting them up.
Maybe your asking prices are unreasonable?

2020. 11mono excellent condition just used for light wind foiling 900 thought that's a good price

Price seems reasonable but there's heaps of that model for sale, maybe offer free or cheap postage because of your location?
Worst time of year as everyone's trying to get rid of their gear, and no-one's buying as autumn in Southern states means no wind, with winter coming no need for light wind kite (unless you're in FNQ), smart ones exit before end of March
Foilers are now dingers, those that still foil boast about how small a kite they have
I had a look at what you re selling and it does seem reasonable, however its a bit of a speciality kite in a funny size (just IMO, personally i wouldnt go bigger than a 9 in the mono). also as others have pointed out its probably the worst time of year to be selling.
Some of the second hand prices on seabreeze are just insane though. When you contact the seller with an offer that is reasonable they are just too offended to continue with the transaction and would rather hang onto the kite with it gathering dust for years in their garage than realise they are being greedy and need to adjust their expectations about what second hand gear is worth.

I am on the other side of the transaction-knowing that this time of the year is a good time by kites, especially V5 Ozones as the V6 is now ready to order from dealers-and I bought a 7M and a 5M V5 from WA at a very good price. I will use the kites for years and will get some use out of them in the winter here on the East Coast once the stronger southerlies kick in.
As others have said, your sale price looks okay-I would offer free shipping as an incentive and/or maybe moderate your price slightly, especially if you are keen to sell at this time of the year.
Good luck.
If you really want to get rid of old kites, I found it's better to cut them up, and keep the parts. Material is great for bags, or other projects. Recycling is the way to go. If you really must sell - then ebay at $1 no reserve I found works. Yes, you will loose but a few $$ is better than nothing.
Lofty did you even read any of the posts? No one's cutting up a 2020 kite which is well priced at $900. Not everyone buys pansh mate.

Haha.. referring to the trend of kite sales vs wings. ps: Pansh kites are still good value, and they've improved R&D heaps.
