Point Henry.
Yeah just follow road that skirts the bay. Keep and eye out for the road that goes to the smelter.
"WARNING" the wind can do funny things' DON'T keep your kite at 12 o'clock!!!!!!
There is a lot of weed on the northern side of the spit, don't drop your kite!!!!!
Regardless of the wind direction make sure the wind is blowing back to the spit.

Not Super near Geelong, but a bit down the surfcoast.

I have windsurfed/kited at:
13th Beach near Barwon Heads: best in W-NW as side shore then. Good for surf/bump'n'jump.
Point Roadknight off the point: Only in a strong southerly off the point. You're a fair way out there. Summer months too many people.
Fairhaven near Aireys Inlet/Great Ocean Rd: Kited there a bit. Westerly a bit gusty with the headland. SW-SE can be good, but the surf can be a bit dumpy especially when wind directly onshore. Sandbars are a something to watch out for. Massive stretch of beach through to Moggs Creek, so crowds not an issue.
Point Danger: Great spot in SW with swell on the reef at high tide. Been a while though. Sure there are many out there that are more experienced than me and could wax lyrical on that spot.
Point Impossible: I always found it sketchy - might be just bad luck. Rocks a bit annoying.

Seen Kiters at:
Urquharts Bluff (Near Aireys Inlet). On my list - semi protected - beach on SW/NE axix, so better for direct Southerlies than Fairhaven
Ocean Grove/Barwon Heads: Looks like it could be good. Nice big semi-circular bay so should work in most W-S wind directions.
