Dave at Kite and SUP Warners Bay.
He has Dale on the Central Coast and would be hard to beat.
If you want credibility on forums more detail on you would help.

Thanks a lot, I'll give them a call. I liked the idea of Canton beach mentioned on the kitepassion site because it said it was shallow, cheers

That's funny, I think I might have bought a kite board from them in 2008. I took a kite lesson at Botany Bay back then and even bought a kite to get myself committed but life got in the way... The kids are teenagers now however and I'm still fit - so this old windsurfer thought he might give it another go.

I have kited for many years SB in surf etc and happy foiling came along.
I started kitefoiling on the Central Coast when I was 71 now just finished my second summer.
So do not hold back it's a totally new experience and skill.

I got a couple of lessons from a guy called hedgy many years ago before bow kites were even invented. He took me out in his boat, dropped me in Tuggerah lake off Picnic Point (the entrance). He sat in the boat just upwind of me and gave me instructions on the run. I progressed 10 times quicker with these 2 boat lessons than the boring beach lessons that I had. I reckon you maybe need 1 beach lesson to go through wind window, launch / setup, quick release safety etc. Then find a teacher with a boat ASAP.
