I was looking to get a new light wind kite, preferably Naish. I have a 10m ride now. It was thinking to buy second hand. It seems like naish have 14m in Ride, Park, Dash and Pivot. I am 70kg, so I think the 17m fly will be to big. It looks like a '15 or '16 park is cheapest.
Which one would you choose, and why?
Pivots are popular kites with heavier guys. I Like my 11 and 8, but did not like 12 (I can imagine 14 would be even worse - heavy bar pressure, pulls like a truck, not very fast turning, not the best upwind once bigger than 11m).
I am 105 kg and when I let guys around your weigh to try my Pivot kites they generally don't like them. Heavy guys 95kg and up do like them. They are also quite powerfull (same or more powerfull than other brands next size up). I would be surprised if you liked 14m Pivot.

What do you want to use it for ? Surfboard, tt, waves, freeride ?
There are plenty of 12 and 14m Pivot owners who are very happy with them. Upwind is no problem.
I had 2015 Pivot 12m and then got 2016 11m - totally different kite, way better than 12m. Maybe the bigger ones improved since - try before you buy if you can.

Mainly light wind cruising at a tt. I don't have any specific riding styles yet, i'm quite a beginner
There is a 14m Boxer which would be my light wind preference (just a couple of kilos heavier than you). They brought this size only now in 2018 so it might be difficult to get a used one. It is on my list for next season.
I mostly ride Pivots (2018), the 11m being the biggest I have right now. I like it a lot.
The Pivots are powerful (don?t know how they compare to the Rides), so I ride smaller sizes. For example my 8m Pivot gives me a similar wind range as my 9m Dash.
I would rather go for a larger used Pivot than a Park to cover light wind.
I think the boxer would be a way better light wind kite than a 14 pivot I've tried the 14 pivot and owned a few light wind specific kites wasn't overally impressed with it boxer would be the go if your buying Naish.
