The down-wind N-S & S-N runs are great fun - this section under the Noosa Council covers about 5-7 kms.
Council regulations have identified Kites surfing as per powered water craft (Jet-ski boats etc), and banned access, if you have not previously please read and consider signing.
FYI.. AMSA (Australian Marine Safety Authority) classification - kitesurfing labelled as a surf craft such as a surfboard, stand up paddle board.

on the SE QLD Kite guide ... The most popular zone below, the other side of the river going to Double Island Point is also in the Noosa Council area - that run is more WA style - remote but g8... check it out on the guide
