Slingshot active stopper ball function

Hi,

I understood, that the function of the active stopper ball could be necessary, if you do tricks like deadman or want to have Hands free for some seconds. But mine is alwasy way up, directly below the fixed stopper ball. I never touched or removed it, neither used it. I only ride strapless and never found it being important for me.
So why not removing it. So that I get a couple of cms more depower, Maybe and a cleaner bar.
Are there any negative Points or dangers which can occur, if I remove the active stopper ball?

Isn't the max depower setup on most bars so that;

1. You can actually reach the bar if you let go of it
2. The kite doesn't invert or freefall if you let go of the bar.

Surely if you pull all your trim on AND let go of the bar, that is already more than enough to make the kite fall?

P.s.lowering the stopper ball can be really handy with keeping the kite steady whilst doing your boots/harness/picking nose/drinking beer/eating chicken
