Ive been Kiting while in Spain and I'm looking at buying some gear that hopefully will be good for when I get back home as well. Any advice on the best size kite for the Newcastle Area?

A 9mtr and 12mtr will get you through winter and summer, and towards the end of winter when the westerlys come through a 7 is handy or just hang on to a 9.Hope that helps.

I had an 8m and 12m when I visited a few years back, and they kept me going. Mainly used the 12m.

I weigh 100kg and use the following:

Summer 10 to 14 (NE breeze is typically 15k to 25k)
Winter 8 to 19 (NW, SW, SE is typically 10k to 35k)
