Hi everyone. I'm new to here, moving to Cronulla from the UK in mid November and i'm bringing all my kiting kit. Just came to ask a few questions about the conditions and spots, seems i've got insanely lucky with being so close to Kurnell.

What's the wind like during Summer around Sydney, how consistent is it and what is the usual wind speeds? What size kites are best for the area? I ride strapped twin tip, i'm male about 75kg and love to boost and practice freestyle.Only got a 11 Best GP, my small kites in bad shape so considering getting a new kite before going out. How often do you get +25 knots days?

Thanks for any advice and hope to see you on the water there.

Good spot - you've got Kurnell and Wanda to cover most any direction except west-southwest.

11m is a good size for your main kite - most people have a 10 or 11. The typical winds in Summer are noreast seabreezes that come up around 2pm. You don't get these every day, but there should be enough to keep you happy.

A smaller kite (I use 8m) would be good for the stronger days.
