Sandringham works well in a true south west breeze. Better and safer on the run in tide... Bus stops right at the beach so easy for public transport.

Over winter we get gusty westerly and north westerly winds. The only place to kite these winds is Kurnell but public transport is a bit infrequent. You need to get a train to Cronulla and then a bus to Silver Beach, Kurnell.

Pretty soon we will see a return to southerly winds and the western shore of Botany Bay will be kiteable again. North east sea breezes start to blow around early October and everyone is happy again.
