Hi, I am moving up to 2 kites this year and was wondering if people with multiple kites stick with the back packs for their kites or keep their gear in a bigger bag?
I often have to carry my gear a few hundred meters up the beach. Was maybe thinking s big gear bag on a beach trolley would get me sorted.

Unless the sand is really hard packed the trolley would be even harder to push about. Clip your kite bags together, the ocean rodeo bags are awesome as you can stack them altogether like one massive backpack.

We use the jumbo cart for our kite school. Those wheels are as good as it gets for rolling on the sand.
Thanks for that replies...the younger version of me would have htfu, checked wind and carried down whats needed. The older version of me will have too look into the beach trolley option cause I gotta carry stuff down for the kids as well.
What about carting kites round those backpacks are kind of a hassle to jam your kite back into, would a bigger gear bag be better for easier packing?

I scored a foldable garden wheel barrow type with 2 x 12 inch pneumatic wheels from Bunnings on special for $29. Off special they are only about 50. It takes all my gear in one go.. 2 kites, 2 bars,tt in bag, foilboard and foil in bags, harness, wetty, water etc etc, with room for more if needed.
Maybe look at a golf buggy with bigger wheels, and then a larger back pack than normal kite bag, plus a board bag slung over your shoulder, should be able to carry a lot of weight
you could fold the golf buggy back up to fit in the car

My kites go into compression bags, and I carry one in the largest kite bag I have. I carry the second kite in the compression bag using its shoulder strap.
The kite that gets used gets jammed into the kitebag when I am done for the day and then cleaned the next morning and then repacked.
I haven't had to use two kites in the same day lately, but if I do, it will be fun jamming it back into the compression bag... Last season I carried a few plastic heshian bags from bunnings with me. These are big white bags and the sandy kites can go in those for the walk back.
I scored something similar to this through work and it fits two kites in compression bags, bar and a few bits and pieces and pump strapped on the side quite easily. I leave it on the beach copping full wind/sandblast and it's totally fine 3rd year in.
