Hi guys,
I am in Perth and have been kiting for one season, and I am pretty addicted. I have been getting 1-2 kite sessions in per week here (even in mid winter). Anyways, there is a good chance I will need to move to Adelaide. Can you guys tell me what to expect regarding kite spots and wind quality? I am worried I will be sorely disappointed, as the Wind Gods spoil us here in Perth, and we have so many kite beach options as well as estuaries. I am hoping you guys can reassure me, and tell me how awesome Adelaide is for kiting? Also, if a kite-surfer were to move to Adelaide which suburb should she move to, so she could get the best kite action?

Thanks in advance

Kiting is great in Adelaide all year round, just need a really good wettie in winter! Depending on where you work may help on where to live. Seacliff, Brighton has really good beaches for kiting in the south, where anywhere north of West Beach is nice to live and kite as well. The mid coast (Seaford) is handy for wave sailing, or Far South (Middleton) is better with bigger waves, sort of like Gero in WA.
This link shows just some of the areas that we go, plus we have very large freshwater lakes, 80kms south of Adelaide.
