ill be hitting just south of the sand pumping jetty if anyone wants to join.
yup give flagged areas a wide berth. ive seen many kiters disregard those rules, lifeguards getting pissed. not good, stay at least 50m away from the flagged areas, keep it safe for everyone.

Well it turned out pretty average..... less than 25kts.
Saw a couple learners doing downwinders, not the best idea to be in those conditions when still learning to keep your kite in the air.
Had a nice session in the surf though, sweet 3-4ft rollers nice and grunty.
hope we didnt look like noobs lol, 3.5hr downwinder with gcdave, he was going off major down line speed, front/back hacks, turns even some rad floaters, 9/7m strapless surf mega playground, mazing how waves change form over 12 klms
Wish the wind came up more, was hard work on the sets
Body aches so all good anyway. Even got few line cuts on an ankle somehow
Had a crack at another downwinder today between spit and main - relatively small surf, 20knts and open spaces - what's not ideal for a noob? This noob was loving it
