A Melbourne kiter used work as an excuse to kite on the surfcoast this week, clear Covid breach, I know it's frustrating for you guys but look at what's happened in Sheparton area.

Please stay home and abide by restrictions, welcome back when you can, cheers

Been happening bayside for the last couple of months lots of people we know who live more than 5k from the beach. Coming in kiting getting back in their cars and going whence they came. Kiting is a good social distance sport and you are allowed to exercise when you are working away from home.

Wrong. Petrol station? Supermarket? Not to mention beach facilities. I'm sure they are stopping there, at the very least. It's an incredibly bad idea, especially now with Delta variant. Lockdown exists for a very good reason, and to disregard this is selfish and dangerous. It's only a week or two; suck it up. When it's over, go where you like.

Regional Victoria currently doesn't have cases in the community, and they certainly don't have hospital capacity to deal with it if they did. Look at Sydney.

I am surprise that Kite Republic and associates are kiting in various spots outside of Melbourne, and are posting publicly about it. Chances are the posts are now removed. Imagine the fines. Not a good role model.

Those of you leaving Melbourne are risking other's lives to do so. Please stop, and just wait it out like the rest of us. It's not worth it.
