We've had sea breezes to 18 knots every night this week. There's 4-5 foilers blasting around having loads of fun on kites 7-15m. People are saying they're the best sessions they've ever had.
No kiteboarders. No windsurfers. Just foilers. Loads of wind. Loads and loads of fun. Where is everyone else?
St Kilda had heaps of foilers, and perhaps a handful TT/SB guys too today. But I also thought it's rather empty for what was pretty good wind and perfect temperature. I think all others were stuck in traffic by the look of it
Maybe the poor teaching methods in St Kilda, scared the beginners and so they've decided to couch-surf instead?

At home mowing the lawn.
Been crappy for weeks further down on the eastern side of the bay, winds too easterly... probably the worst start to a summer for years, stops the sea breezes coming in.
Just need a bigger kite and a surfboard or skim board. Inverloch the last couple of weeks has been great kited at least 3 times a week with a 13 metre and a big surfboard... been really good no one around place to myself...

Doesn't matter how big a kite I pump up, it won't change the wind direction...
