hi guys,
this weekend's been pretty windy and had may 9 and 8m kites (rebel 9m, Ozone reo 8m) at st kilda ...probably 25-30 knots ...now i'm thinking maybe a 6m would be handy but not sure how many times a year i'd use it...75kg intermediate ...got 133/40 TT...
Problem with small times is you might invest in something that's not often used...few days you get 30kts yu might still manage with a 8m though not comfortable...
if you do go for a small kite for high wind, will 5 strut kite be better since I don't wave ride?

Cheers

Buy a 6m once every 3 to 4 years ..... it won't get enough use to need replacing before that and you won't miss out on the epic days .....
I would go with a 5 strut for added stability 35+knots can be pretty gusty in melb.

Buy a used 6 meter kite. I used my 6 meter kite maybe 4 time a year. If I did not have the kite I would have just watch and not play this weekend.
