Ask a silly question:
what happens if you have North kite gear and something breaks or needs replacing?

Are Duotone offering replacement gear?

Does this reduce the value of any second hand gear down to basically zero $?

Who would like to sell me a second hand North Neo 8m with bar and lines for $50-$100?

Duotone have said they'll honour North warranty and still have spares. Looks like you won't be so lucky

Interesting times, so when you need a North spare pare you go to Duatone. But with the North rebirth, in years to come you either go to Duatone or North depending on the year model. Confusing definitely, but I know which brand has the cool name, and it isn't Duatone.

Hi Stewart,

Duotone have spare parts for almost all old North kites and do stand by their warranty. Your replacement components will likely be branded Duotone.

I suspect the new North kites will be rebranded Cabrinha designs as the Cabrinha designer moved across to the new North. The new North will unlikely have any replacement parts for old North kites. I could be wrong but I can't see them investing in parts for kites they never designed.

Nice try with the Neo
