Hi people- going over to south-coast Fiji in July
Q: which board to take? 7'2 HN, 8'7 flow or 8'1 surf?
What breaks people recommend? Can you surf around south-coast without needing boat?
Can't wait
July is good and if you don't want to hop in a boat you need to be on the Coral Coast , places like Fiji Beachouse is perfect with waves straight out front , they can also take you to other breaks really close by. The breaks are pretty sucky so take which board you are more comfortable in those type of waves. Good wind in July as well .

I am staying just up from the beach house now, mango bay. Sup's here big foamy's.
Had a look at the beach house yesterday, they have a large selection of suitable boards on site for hire. Break out the front looked good.

Thanks mate, looking at a trip next year and looking for alternatives to packing up my board.
Does anyone know if there are surf sup rentals close to the Beachhouse?
Yeah Beachouse has got everything you need , they bought a container of Sunova awhile back.

Great stuff, thankyou Piros. Already thinking ahead for the next mission. Warm water and reef sounds like heaven, especially with the cold dip in weather lately
Spent 10 days at the beach house a couple of years ago and it was spot ,surf out the front or you can some distance stuff along the coast .When we were there it was access to all sorts of boards and a good range .One day they packed us in there bulla bus and took us to a local downwind event which was great and another day they took us down the coast so we could down wind home .they will take you to different surf spots as well .is a great spot
