Devon on the Huevo

As an aside I just went at looked at a C bucket and Flat tracker and Heuvo...the Howard mini has a lot more roll in the bottom that all three and thinner rails than the Huevo...hard to judge but i'd say it also has more rocker especially in the tail than any of the others and yes teh nose is slightly wider but I would see that as an advantage unless your surfing slabs

Damn he surfs good... Being picky i'd say the board seems smoother and a little more natural when he's on the tak vs the shorter Huevo...

This ones pretty nice too...

I'm sliding down the Hull rabbit hole. 10 surfs since I got the Death Machine and only two on other boards...
I might ask someone to try save me but I'm sure I'd spurn any offers without a thought...

Stumbled across this old thread looking for an 8.5" Greenough Fin for 8'2" Lizzy... Some interesting stuff in there...

Ended up ordering the True Ames as the Alkali has the screw mount at the front of the fin and I prefer it at the back... And Alkali have no stock...

The screw location of the Alkali Greenough is in front of the fin vs the TA is behind the fin...

I'm sure it makes no difference for performance but just personal preference... And like I said, the Alkali is out of stock with no eta.

I read or watched a thing ages ago which showed that the screw in front of the foil breaks the water flow... Like I said, at my level of ability (lack of ) i'm sure it has no affect at all...

Midlengths: upping the ante in one's arsenal of weapons in the war amongst the waves. The goal: total domination. For too long (pun intended) longboarders have used their foam advantage to pillage and pilfer. SUP riders have upped the ante and displaced longboarders as the foam bombers. Midlengths are many shortboarders defensive moves in the chess game of wave capture. Anything goes when greed rules the lineup.

LOL...!

Agreed, Looks awesome! I'm increasingly a fan of that kind of slightly pulled in but rounded off nose. I can't see any downsides, except perhaps streetcred in certain lineups but all the better for upsetting the status quo I say.
