Hi, I sail with an Alu rrd foil, and a starboard formula board, I've already been giving it a lot for 1 year! weight + 100k and from 10 knots and 7.7 I start! I dominate the directions but I can't backstrap (to gain more luff) as I see some for my place! is there any particular technique? Thank you

Are you asking what you can do to use the back footstrap?

Lots of guys only use the back strap for going up wind.

el traductor de google no acierta con la traduccion adecuada! queria saber como se navega contraescorado!! que tecnica permite inclinar la tabla y aun seguir volando!! A mi me pasa que al inclinarme entro en perdida y termino con vela en mi cabeza!!!

It just got worse, a lot worse.

Google says:

the google translator does not get the correct translation right! I wanted to know how to navigate backward! What technique allows you to tilt the board and still keep flying! It happens to me that when I bow down I go into a loss and end up with a candle in my head !!!

Are you talking of sailing like this (AUS-1064, NZL 767)?

A 2 directional wing on a freestyle foil board. Now that would be interesting to see and would open up a whole new area and skill set in foiling.

are you talking about escorado or contra escorado? escorado is what the guys in the picture above are doing (especially the one on the front); contra escorado wold be tipping the board to the opposite side?

Tweak lots of lift into your foil and point upwind. You will find it comes naturally.

its more a case of controlling the excess lift that the foil generates when travelling upwind. You'll see race foilers do it a lot more as the lift can be overwhelming upwind with the large amount of lift they tune into the foil.

i wouldn't get too worried about it if you can travel upwind ok and you're not racing. The tilt is more a consequence of a lot of lift, not really a special technique as such.

subsonico!! gracias, ajustare mi aleron trasero e intentare probar esta postura! tambi?n depender? del equilibrio lateral del foil?

This mostly happens when you head up and into the wind. Easiest done when your clew is on the upwind side of your centerline. Close hauled and carving upwind with gusts. When the sail is leaned over, you use the board to push against; and the foil needs to counter the force (hence the heeling of the board). Its fun to blast that way.

I think the answer to that (without using translate) is that adjusting your stabilizer (rear wing) for up lift by shimming it with something will get you more lift. Which may result in you being able to heel the board to windward, like in the photo.

i'm not completely familiar with the rrd foils, or which one exactly you have, but some of the earlier generation foils, or more free ride orientated foils simply aren't built to incorporate a massive amount of lift. You may find it's too easy to overwhelm the lift with body weight. But if you want more lift, its a good place to start.

Voy a intentar aumentar el levantamiento y colgarme del arnes! el peso del cuerpo lo contrarresta obviamente la vela, pero el apoyo es mas sobre el pie delantero o trasero?
