So far, the forecast is looking good. Me and a few others will be sailing there tomorrow if anyone is interested, pending tomorrow morning's forecast. Low tide is 12:13pm. Recommend getting there about then to meet n greet. Rig up and head out. Remember, booties are a must there.

Where abouts at robe. What size waves do you generally get. Whats the wind like (direction, consistency and angle (cross off, side etc) ) What to look at weather wise and how long a drive ?

You need to unlock the wallet Bondy and get yourself a helmet cam so you can show us what we're missing

Jay, no problems with my wallet, I just have no interest in filming. In fact I have a whole box of gopro stuff I was given and have had for a year but just cant find the time and effort to get it happening. Best thing If you want to see what its like, make the trip and sail it.
Sam, Third ramp on long beach but we usually go down on the beach a bit further round where the swell gets a bigger. Yesterday was half mast high with some 3/4 mast high sets at the peak of the swell. 20 - 25knots S-SE but got up to about 28 knots for a while. How to read the swell takes a bit more work, need to read the forecasting and use other data. Its 349km from the CBD so depends how fast you drive to how long the drive takes.

If you're not using your camera gear. Lead it to me. I'll keep the dust off it for you. What is it ?. A No Pro ?
