Well that's up to each of us I guess.
To be frank it's not cheap, but there's nothing really out there that is that convenient and well thought out.
I like their booms too, but I'd rather save up for a Cocos trip!

Are you getting a boom price too?

ah! sadly no! Just got myself a new Neil Pryde. Not sure I'd spend that much on a boom, even if it looks well finished.

I've just ordered a bunch for a group of us here in NZ, 60 euro each. Just be aware that they are in manufacturing, but hopefully if you guys order a bunch that will speed up the the time frame for getting the next batch machined

Good to know! I'm waiting for their bank details to finalise the order. Hopefully not too long to wait. Though the season is pretty much over now...

Pulleys have now been ordered, hoping not to get taxed upon entry into Australia.
I'll contact the group buyers when I have the goods.

Not sure if that threshold is still valid though I think GST is automatically added to ANY import, I might be wrong though.
Just wait and see now, I should have a tracking number soon.

Pulleys have been sent now, guys at LISA booms have been super helpful, they are very busy and only a small team.
Hoping my next update will be for the arrival.
Thanks for your patience!

Gst is not added unless the shipment is over $1000. If it comes via Australia post they often don't check ( I have never seen Australia post open the plastic envelope stuck to the box with the invoice in. ) if it comes via a courier DHL. Fedex they only process import cost including GST and admin fee for over $1000 so if the total is over $1000 look at fees of 15% plus admin fee usually around $50.

Hi guys

Pulleys have arrived, no additional tax so final price inc delivery is AU$85.
The Iban transfer hurt a bit, would have preferred Paypal or C/C but that wasn't available.
Decent saving over a one off order which would have been AU$120 or 80Euros for one pulley with delivery.
PM for details.

Discovered last night that they don't fit through the clew eyelet of my loft racing blades. Do fit the one ka koncept I have though.

Fitted to my boom today. Nice and light, but I do wonder how robust the plastic will be. Does everyone have the "cuts" in the plastic (see pic)? I assume that's something to do with the 3D printing, but it does add a cheap feel to it...

Yes mine does. I thought it was to help with feeding the rope or if the rope is at an angle to allow it to flex rather than wear away, which it will anyway.

It's designed to insert the rope, see video:

I do agree though, it makes me wonder how durable that will be
