One of the best things about kiteboarding is sunburn, messy hair and smelling like the beach. Sure, you could be sitting around in an office all day. It's air conditioned, you get to wear fancy clothes. But where's the fun in that?

Katie Potter gets it. She's from Melbourne and spent half a year travelling the world after she finished uni. You can bet your favourite kite that she didn't strap on a pair of heels the whole time. Instead, choosing bare feet and a bikini. Sometimes a garbage bag.
