South Africa; and Cape Town to be specific, are the breeding grounds of kiteboardings greatest. Ruben Lenten, Aaron Hadlow, Nick Jacobsen. They all call it home for at least part of the year, usually our summer, from October to March. That means it's a great winter getaway for those in the Northern hemisphere, but when there's this much fun to be had - even a few Aussies head West.

Keahi De Aboitiz is one of them, and where Keahi goes, fireworks usually follow. That man has a fascination with explosives that attracts him to beach bonfires like a pyromaniac to a lighter. So put Nick Jacobsen, James Boulding, Liam Whaley and Graham Howes on a beach in Cape Town together, and you know there's going to be some action both on, and off the water.

Cabrinha put their name to a trip there this year, to film a little vid called 'Cape Town Confidential', and this week they released a teaser trailer. In it you will find some insane kiteloops, gnarly storm riding and all the beach shenanigans you could ask for. Oh, and some nifty little tricks with lights inside kites!

There's more to come though, on June 1st, so check back then!
