Here I have added some rope incase the replacement straps break again ...I dont want to injure myself. Kinda safety precaution...No holes drilled..

Good idea.

Well... current 2021 model that did not last a month. Duotone is not getting lucky with the quality of the plastics used in manufacturing.

Doesn't surprise me.

I personally never liked the stiff rubber they use on the Duotone pads sole. Seeing this im happy I got rid of my 2018 Entities. No idea if you guys in Australia can get your hands on them easily but the Blankforce UHD pads have worked wonders for me. Been struggling finding good fitting pads for some time and after having used DT Entities, Crazyfly Hexa, SlingShot Dually I can say that the Blankforce ones are the most comfortable and best fitting for me. Maybe worth a try if you haven?t found your perfect pads yet :).

Doesn't surprise me.

And one month later the other binding broke and I'm on holidays in the middle of nowhere: Great stuff Duotone.

I have recently bought a 2nd hand board with the Cabrinha H2O bindings and am seriously considering buying another new set for my other board which currently has the H1's. Super comfy, super adjustable and once you get the setup right, can easily slide foot in but super secure while riding. Took me about 4 sessions to find my "perfect setup" because of the huge variation in options but loving them since. There is a good video on the different adjustments on Cab website.

Naish Apex are top shelf. I have them on the new Duotone select. One thing I've discovered and this goes for both Naish and Duotone is slipping out of the bindings can be almost eliminated by taking the heel pad out from under the foot pad.

There's still enough material in the foot pad to afford a smooth ride and by removing that packer it let's your heel sit into the pad deeper. Try it if you have slipping problems.

Another quick, easy and solid solution to fix eventually the problem... Something is wrong with the design/material if you need 4 cable ties to fix it.

Value for MONEY, if they spent as much time researching quality as they did ,gay arse colours they'd be great, still running some black sneakers from 2010 with velcro

Probably the worst foot straps on the market.
Surely Duotone can come up with a simpler more durable foot strap.
Take a few tips from eg,Shinn,Nomad,Ozone,CrazyFly,
for comfort and reliability.

Hi everbody,
I`ve got my third pair (on warranty) already. Complained every time with the dealer, that this is obviously a design failure but nothing so far.
I really like the binding (when its not broken ).
This time they'll send me the latest model and said its reinforced - lets see about that...
Hopefully this time the straps will last a little!!!

If you have no joy on your 3rd set then get the Naish Apex. Chalk and cheese. They smoke the entity bindings in every aspect.

Mine also broke 2 weeks out of warranty. Duotone refunded but it took >3 months to come in and then was the wrong size. So if anyone wants a pair of brand new 2020 L/XL straps (without pads) for cheap, hit me up.

Similar misery from California where we've seen multiple failures on current and older yrs of NTT bindings. ALL of which are strap-side plastic lug tear-outs. I changed over to Naish Apex as they reasonably fit a wide sz13 foot. Hate to abandon the NTT straps after 18mo so I'm prototyping a fix using a looped nylon strap & velcro. The velcro contact surfaces do tuck neatly under the (blue logo) between the two straps. Durability testing may be on hold till we get storm clearing winds later this fall.
BUT it sure does suck to have nearly new gear fail Duotone. My wallet will remember this crap!
